Why I’m Supporting UHN
Wednesday 14th May This year, I’m proud to be part of a team walk to raise funds for the University Health Network (UHN). A cause that’s close to my heart and vital to the future of healthcare.As someone who has worked at Toronto Rehab (part of UHN) and TGH for over 27years, I have witnessed firsthand the impact that compassionate care, research, and innovation can have on patients and their families. UHN isn’t just a group of hospitals, it’s a leader in medical breakthroughs, a hub for education, and a place where lives are transformed every day. Some of my family members and friends have benefited from care provided at UHN.
The funds raised through this walk will go toward advancing research, improving patient care, and fueling the kind of healthcare innovations that will help our families, friends, and future generations.
I am walking because I believe in a future where healthcare is stronger, smarter, and more compassionate.
