Dear friends and family,
Hi, it's Hazel and am doing something I haven't done for a long time - A CHARITY WALK!
I am fundraising for Toronto's University Health Network by participating in a 5KM walk on May 31st. My running days are long over and walking is the best thing for me!
While there are several facilities that fall under this network, I associate most with the Princess Margaret Cancer Hospital as well as Toronto Western.
So many of my family and friends have been treated at both and that's why I am supporting the network in this fundraiser.
Please donate to my fund and support my efforts to give back and change lives. BUT do not feel obligated to. If you choose to support me, any donation large or small will mean so much.
The spirit behind UHNITED is the power of great minds from different disciplines joining forces to not only deliver the best care, but to tackle some of the toughest health care challenges of our day.
But it can’t be done without your support.
Proceeds from We Walk UHNITED will support the most urgent needs of UHN.
Your support gives them the flexibility to respond to the increasing demands on our healthcare system, while helping Canada’s #1 hospital accelerate ground-breaking research.
It helps UHN to recruit the best and brightest medical minds and equip them with the latest cutting-edge equipment and technology – so they can keep pushing the status quo of healthcare and do what’s never been done.
