Walking for UHN
Wednesday 11th Mar 2025 was a very eventful year for me. I was diagnosed and treated for two different types of cancer and had a benign lipoma removed from my hand at Humber River Hospital and Sunnybrook Hospital - two outstanding hospitals. My late mother-in-law was treated at Princess Margaret Hospital for breast cancer years ago. All the UHN hospitals are amazing and have been around for a very long time. They’ve expanded and all the new technology and equipment is astounding. Funding is necessary for these hospitals to continue to expand their facilities and research. This is why I chose to do the walk this year. I get to do what I love the most - walking - and support such a great cause.❤️🌹
