From life-saving transplant number one and the best pre- and post- lung transplant rehab, to keeping me alive when my kidneys failed through the stellar home hemodialysis program, to saving my life again with the living donation program and ensuring that not only was Nundhun’s kidney transplanted into me safely but that he was also cared for, to most recently restoring my vision through cataract surgery – UHN has been an integral part of my health care for the past 15 years.

The innovations in research and transplant here truly transforms lives. And while I’ve spent a lot of time at Toronto General Hospital through various challenges and difficult moments, I’ve also been fortunate to receive kind, compassionate care every step of the way.

I’ll be walking on May 31 to support all the great work UHN does, making a difference to my life and so many others. Every dollar donated helps them continue to change more lives in the future!
