25 years of friendship and counting thanks to UHN ❤️
Sunday 10th MayDuring Frosh week in 1991, I met Scott on his very first day at the University of Toronto. I spotted him through my dorm window and by that evening we were dancing in togas!
Since then we’ve journeyed through all our life’s ups and downs together. And in December 2024, I thought I was going to lose Scott. He needed a liver transplant and a suitable donor had not been found. On the same day I thought I needed to prepare myself to say farewell to my dear friend, Scott called to say he was on his way to Toronto - a liver had been found! Thanks to Scott’s strength, self-advocacy and the brilliant team at UHN, Scott and his children are thriving. That’s why I’m raising funds for ‘We Walk UHNITED’ on May 3O in Toronto, in support of Scott, his children and other families who deserve to have their loved one’s life saved.
