UHNITED to bring hope to patients and their loved ones!

Losing my dad to a killer disease 25 years ago, just a few months after my 16th birthday, was life-altering for me and my family to say the least. I have found immense comfort in choosing a career in health care, and at UHN Foundation, where I have the privilege of telling stories about the lives impacted by the world-changing work of Canada's #1 hospital.

I'm participating in We Walk UHNITED to bring hope to other families who are going through their own health ordeals. And there IS hope.

Thanks to medical advancements, how we care for patients today is very different from how we cared for patients 25 years ago. In Canada, it's community support that fuels the big and bold ideas that are transforming health care - to not only bring hope to patients and their families here at home, but around the world. And wow, is UHN's impact ever felt around the world.
