I’ve registered for We Walk UHNITED and chosen to raise funds for University Health Network (UHN).
Five years ago, I spent over two months unable to see my wife. No visits. No hand-holding. Just updates from ICU nurses over the phone — and a lot of praying that I’d get to see her smile again.
Ashley was in critical condition with COVID, fighting for her life while I stood on the sidelines, helpless. Those months were the hardest of our lives. But thanks to the world-class care from the team at University Health Network (UHN), she made it. And now, five years later, we’re walking together — something that once felt impossible.
