Heart disease, cancer, and stroke are among the leading causes of death across the developed world. Occurences may be largely preventable or reversible, or delay-able, but healthy persons are not risk-free. Treatment is paramount.

Just about everyone has a family member or close friend die before their time. The 2 younger of my 3 sisters succumbed to cancer. In recent years I visited with 2 friends who died the following week. Three among family and friends are currently battling cancer, and a dozen others are benefitting from heart care.
