It takes a city to change the world, and this year, taking part in We Walk UHNITED presented by Rogers is deeply personal to me.
Having gone through open-heart surgery during COVID, I gained a firsthand appreciation for the importance of exceptional hospitals, skilled medical teams, and life-saving innovation.
That is why I am proud to support University Health Network. Recently recognized nationally and internationally, Toronto General Hospital - part of UHN - was ranked the #2 hospital in the world, the highest ranking ever achieved by a Canadian hospital.
While based in Toronto, the impact of UHN reaches far beyond one city. Its research, discoveries, and medical breakthroughs help shape health care across Canada and around the globe.
