Why I am Participating
I'm participating in We Walk UHNited to give back to the place that helped me through the most challenging time in my life. After a spinal cord injury at 16, I received life-changing care at Toronto Rehab – Lyndhurst Centre. Their compassion, support, and expertise helped me begin to heal when I felt at my lowest. This walk is my way of saying thank you, and helping others access the same incredible care I was lucky to receive.
