I was given a second chance at life.

I was given a second chance at life in September, when I received a stem cell/bone marrow transplant at The Princess Margaret Cancer Centre, here in Toronto, Canada, after being diagnosed with CMML2. Today, I am grateful to share that I am in remission.

To give back and celebrate this new chapter, I am walking in We Walk UHNITED on May 31, 2025. This event is more than just a walk-it’s a celebration of hope, community, and the incredible care that saved my life. By joining others at The Princess Margaret Cancer Centre for this accessible, family-friendly event, I want to support the groundbreaking innovations and compassionate care at UHN that make stories like mine possible .

Every step I take is a thank you to my medical team, my son who is my donor, my wife who is my caregiver, my family, my friends and everyone who supports patients like me. I invite you to join me, support my walk, or share my story to help others facing their own health battles.
