It's been a little more than 1.5 years since I had a life-changing heart transplant. To commemorate this milestone, I plan on participating in my first 5 km walk!

I'll be joining Team HeartLinks, our intrepid group of heart transplant recipients, caregivers, family and friends ❤️

I am forever grateful to my donor and their family, and to UHN for their ongoing care.

Proceeds from We Walk UHNITED will go toward the most urgent needs of UHN. Your support gives them the flexibility to respond to the increasing demands on our healthcare system, while helping Canada’s #1 hospital accelerate groundbreaking research.

It also helps UHN to recruit the brightest medical minds and equip them with the latest cutting-edge technology – so they can keep pushing the status quo of healthcare and Do What’s Never Been Done.
